Dorset Council has agreed that a referendum should take place on Thursday 6 May 2021. Documents relating to the referendum are listed below:
- Information Statement – provides details on the referendum, such as the question that will be asked, where and when the referendum will be held, who is entitled to vote, and can you can vote (including by post or proxy
- Portland Neighbourhood Plan 2017 to 2031 (referendum version)
- Decision Statement (26 February 2021) – a statement by the local planning authority that the plan as proposed meets the basic conditions
- Summary of Representations received to the regulation 16 consultation
- Examiner’s Final Report
Locally access to Printed Copies will be available via Portland Tophill Library .Dorset Council libraries are currently closed due to Covid-19 restrictions. In line with the Government’s roadmap for easing lockdown restrictions, the earliest date that they might re-open is 12 April. They are however operating an order and collect service – please call 01305 228400 to order over the phone, or go online.
